Base Camp Trail Network

Walk your way to better health with our extensive trail network in and around campus, great for a brisk walk or to enjoy some fresh air during your lunch break.

Our indoor walking path is .25 miles one way, a convenient place to get in a quick walk between meetings or to avoid the heat or rain.

Meandering around the five ponds at Base Camp, there are three outdoor loops covering .30 miles, .95 miles and 1.2 miles, starting at the North Entrances. Connect to nature while enjoying native grasses, wildflowers and a variety of wildlife including geese, fish and turtles.

Time in nature has tangible health benefits, as just 2 hours per week outdoors has been demonstrated to reduce stress, improve sleep and enhance individuals’ overall wellbeing. Make the most of your health by exploring the Base Camp walking trails.
