Exempt (Salaried) Outfitters

  • Vacation hours are granted on January 1 of each year or on the first day of employment for new hires.
  • Vacation can be used as soon as it is granted, must be pre-approved by a manager and must be used in one-day increments.
  • An additional week of vacation will be granted on January 1 of the year in which the 1st, 7th or 14th anniversary will be reached.

  • White River Marine Group Base Camp: No unused vacation time will be paid out.
  • White River Marine Group plant locations only: No unused vacation time will be paid out at year end without the express approval of the vice president of manufacturing.
  • Outfitters that terminate from the company with less than seven years of service will receive payout of unused vacation from the January 1 grant based on YTD months of service through the month of termination, prorated at 1/12 per month unless otherwise required by state law.
  • Outfitters that terminate from the company with more than seven years of service will receive payout of any unused vacation, based on the January 1 grant. 

non-Exempt (Hourly) Outfitters

  • On each anniversary, vacation will be granted based on hours paid in the previous year. Vacation can be used as soon as it is granted, must be pre-approved by a manager and must be used in one-day increments.
  • Full-time and part-time Outfitters who are paid for between 1,040 and 1,560 hours will receive prorated vacation time based on actual hours paid.
  • Full-time and part-time Outfitters who were not paid for at least 1,040 hours during the previous year are not eligible to receive vacation during the following year.
  • Vacation can be used as soon as it is granted, must be pre-approved by a supervisor and can be used in one-hour increments.
  • White River Marine Group plant locations only: Vacation must be used in eight-hour increments.
  • Hours included in accrual are actual hours paid (Regular, Sick, Holiday, Vacation, Bereavement, Overtime, Double-time, Jury Duty).
  • Short-term disability and long-term disability hours are excluded from accrual.
