AND FAMILIES

Family resources

We are proud to assist Outfitters who are starting a family, as well as new parents and families, by offering a range of benefits resources along with comprehensive wellness programs.

Leave of Absence

Bass Pro Shops offers extended family and medical leave, in accordance with applicable federal and state laws in effect at the time leave is granted. Leave may be taken to care for the Outfitter’s child after birth, or placement for adoption or foster care within 12 months following the birth or placement of the child.

Adding a child to your Medical Plan

The birth or adoption of your child is a “qualifying life event.” Add your child to the medical plan within 30 days of the date of birth or adoption.

Expectant Mother Parking

Bass Pro Shops offers Expectant Mother Parking at Base Camp. Located directly outside the North and South Entrances, these spots can be reserved by women in their third trimesters, making it more convenient to get inside and out of the elements. To request a parking spot, please contact HRSupportCenter@basspro.com.

Mothers’ corners at Base Camp

Base Camp offers three mothers’ corners to provide breastfeeding mothers with a private space. To request access to a lactation room or more information about the schedule, email HRSupportCenter@basspro.com.

Base Camp has been recognized as a Gold Level Missouri Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the Missouri Breastfeeding Coalition. Bass Pro Shops is one of just three large workplaces in the Springfield area to achieve this top recognition level.
